No way I would do a ST , my opinion is there gutless after 4000 rpm , a stock focus with a low boost turbo kit would run off and hide from the ST and be just as reliable , do the same on an SVT Focus and it would out track it as well

iminhell ^ and I'd still whoop your ass.

200hp all motor in a MK1 makes a pretty quick little car (fwiw, I should be in the low 14/high 13 range now).

Kming and cam timing advance it as you see progress if you deck the head and increase compression higher octane fuel to prevent preigniton a nice tuner would be great to adding hp. Look into wide band o2 sensors for tunning. You could get the svt variable intake manifold that has short and long runners for better low and high torque so youll have powerthrough all rpm. The only thing is that i believe that they are electroniccly controlled and you need the svt pcm :/ wich you can swap.mmm i hope it was some help oh and port the plenum and anywhere where there is air Nd exaust moving and a throttle body spacer..
DO WHAT ! ?????????

Where do I start ????????? there is so much wrong in that I not going to say a thing ?????????

TheGlassMaker Sell it and get a mazdaspeed3. You can get 350hp with bolt ons. They are 262hp stock, and a mazdaspeed intake alone with give you a extra 28hp, and 28tq.

The aftemarket is plentiful, and the brakes and suspension is light years over the mk1 focus.
