Joni4TA I know right!?!? I can't believe no one has cornered the market on the fix for our sunroof!

Nettalp any updates? I have same problem

Joni4TA I had the same issue, and could never get my hands back in that small area to pull the shade out all the time. It would go back with the sunroof, and stay back there lol So I pulled the shade out for good... which was a mistake.. now my car is noisy! It sounds like a wind tunnel!

And I have no idea how to get that thing back in there to at least function the way it did before I yanked it out...

mkiisupra My tab was 1/2 broken and then stayed put when I attempted to close the sunroof. Of course, since the shade wasn't moving forward, the sunroof went 2/3 closed and opened back up. As soon as I wiggled the shade out in the sunroof area, the sunroof closed properly.

I ended up removing the tab that auto pulls the shade so that I won't have the issue again. I think that the CA sun and heat ate up the plastic shade 'pull' and made it brittle.

Anyone have an extra grey sunroof shade 'handle/pull'??
