Juggernaut Mtrsprts I know this one is a little old but we run a 195/65/15 tire on my rally car and I believe my teammate is running a 175/70/15. Wouldn't go ANY bigger than a 195 unless you're making good power (think 160whp+) or are geared VERY aggressively (custom set or box).

I've run skinnier as well ~165/65/15 in a random Pirelli size.

You won't find rally tires just anywhere they're sold almost exclusively through limited distributors and rally websites. If you need help with them PM me. Also look for used sets since they'll be substantially cheaper and you won't miss the full tread if you're only Rallyxing them.

Yeah I stopped at some of the tire places around where i live and they dont have much of anything close to rally tires. the winter tires they have though are few, and the cheapest ones I found are a set of hankook tires which they want $93 each for, which is funny because the regular tires i have on my car for driving cost more than that at around $102 each. Is that like the deal of the day or something or should I keep looking. I mean i know hankooks are good and all but doesnt that seem low priced.

Royce01 yeah i understand what you mean Tigercrazy about running the stock class but my car has the spi motor in it and the kid i bought the car from already had the Exhaust and Brakes installed on it so Iwouldnt been able to run stock anyway. besides since i already had those on there I was tempted to add the other stuff to go with it. It's kinda my nature. study hard bro good luck

gcassidy that sounds like a good start so I'll look in to that. Because right now I live in palm bay and they dont have anything over here unless your into Boxing, which was why my parents and I originally moved here, because I was boxing for a few years and at one time I was planning on going pro. anyway back to what i was saying as far as tracks and stuff I think the closest to me is in orlando and the city shut that down last week,it was on the news. we have a place called the compound which is nothing but like 30 miles of gravel, sand and some evenly paved roads that the city abandonned because of budget cuts. thats the closest thing to a rally/rallycross track that I can go to. so I'll look into that thanks.

gcassidy I believe it was the April 2010 issue of Grassroots Motorsports where they started a series about taking a Subaru Rallycrossing in Florida, and other Atlantic states. If you can find some of those series they might have some info of where you could run.

tigercrazy718 if your just doing low key rallycross and not rallying, you really dont need to beef anything up. in fact last month me and my friend took my completely stock SVT and got 2nd and 4th in the 2 wheel drive class. first rallycross either of us had been to. now i cant remember what the rules are for bumping you up a class, and i can't look right now because im supposed to be studying, but you wont need much to be competitive in the stock class depending on your region and whos in it.

Royce01 yeah my car isn't stock. Im not sure what class i would be in maybe you can help heres a list of my upgrades.

1) Magnaflow catback exhuast system 2.25"
2) Magnaflow high flow cat 2.25"
3) Brembo front disc brakes with cross drilled/slotted rotors
4) Spectre Racing Air Filter 3" cone on stock tubing
5) Spectre air breather filter 1/2"
6) Sport springs and struts (I believe there K-Sport)
7) Tinted windows (medium tinted)

But yeah im just figure out as much as I can about this because I love the WRC and I put decals and rally stripes on to make my car look like a rally car
and stuff because i support it. But alot of people see the car and automaticlly think I race it and there arent any tracks that I know here in florida that I could go to so I could race it and I get alot beef about it. so i was trying to get more info on it because I would like to get involved in Rallycross but i need the proper equipment first thats why I was asking for your alls help. thanks in advance

tigercrazy718 buy some cheap rims and throw on some winter tires. itll keep you in the stock class and keep you out of rally prepped. unless you want to run rally prepped

What size dirt tires will fit the focus

Im wanting to get into rallycross but I need the tires to do it and I can't find shit here in Florida that will fit the stock 195/60 r15. I'm willing to go to a bigger size if needed but I was wondering what everyone ran on there cars. Im just trying to get an idea on what to buy. Thx in advance
