Vlad_x35 Reviving this thread. So after going all 30 pages and doing a time travel between 2012-2015, it seems K&N did not modify anything from the original design, right?
Was considering getting one but would like some feedback of how things are currently.

bdashrad Just traded in my 2012 Focus for a 2015 GTI. I had the K&N intake on the Focus for a year and a half, and while it was a little loud, it wasn't too bad.

I had problems with the filter staying on at first, but gradually tightened it until I felt like it was secure, but not going to crack the MAF. Didn't have any issues with it falling off for over a year and the MAF was completely intact.

I returned it to stock before trading it in. It will be for sale in the classifieds section eventually.

Theblueoval I've had the K&N typhoon for almost 2 years now with no issues. Still loving every minute of it. 2nd K&N CAI I've owned, 1 for my charger and the one for my focus, both have performed flawlessly.

Irishmykl Reviving this thread again. I have the K&N i bought from Sonic and its been great, i had issues with the filter sliding off at first but its been fine for months, now that its gotten cold here in texas, i can't seem to keep the thing on for even a 5 minute drive. Im going to look into my MAF housing being warped or cracked. Thank you everyone.
