KamelReds My 2013 with 37k miles on it has pretty amazing paint for it's age and miles. I was seriously impressed when I went to look at it. A couple touch ups on some light scratches and a clay bar/buff/wax later and it looks brand new.

I'm pretty sure mine was a fluke.

SCaliber I've had chips on my car since the day I bought it used 2 years ago. Last week I had a rust spot forming and I had to kick it back and repaint. I don't think it's a but issue, but I can see it snow balling if you don't notice it.

I've always just blamed stuff popping off the road.

scott7278 You have the five speed, so I would imagine it's pretty much bulletproof.

scott7278 I'm glad to hear that - how has your car been doing overall?

My 2015 has much better paint quality than my 2012. No orange peel, and it's much more resistant to chipping.

I was certain I was going to have to repaint the hood at the rate I was experiencing chips in the first six months - the paint seemed to fully harden around the one year mark.

My color, Red Candy, was a one-and-done paint, though, so maybe they had issues with it...

IngotMK3 Door jams are the only areas where my car seems to be lacking..
