700whpfocus where would i put my spare tire?

1turbofocus The WELL CELL is the round one I / you posted links to , thats the tank I have always used and it works well with no spillage in the car or fuel smell

The well cell goes where the spare tire goes , there is no take to go where the stock tank it , ATL for a hugh price can build you one for there tho

700whpfocus Which one tom? I suppose they both do, but i am considering removu=ing my stock tank and placing the big fuel cell there. What mods do i have to do to the fuel level sending unit?

1turbofocus The well cell works very good in the Focus

1turbofocus ATL Well Cell , Summet sells them
http://www.summitracing.com/search/P...ll-Fuel-Cells/

As you can see they are FIA / SCCA legal which says a lot for the safety of the cell

ATL sells the connection to run to the filler cap (some modifications will be needed) and a fuel solenoid to keep your fuel gauge

teddyzx3 if i was to go the route of a fuel cell....since you have messed with a couple, do you have any companys or brands you are fond of?
08-04-2012 12:23 PM
Roushturboedzx3 To do all that will cost cost twice of a hangar setup. And the only benefit is run below 3/8. But both ways will work cell or hanga setup. OP it's whatever you wanna do both ways have been done.

1turbofocus There is a cure for all that

There is no smell if the cell is installed properly and vented out side the car
If you use the well cell the only space you loose in the spare tire hole
Done properly the car can be filled from the existing filler
Safety use a bladdered tank and you cell will be safer then the stock tank

If you choose not to do a fuel cell then just install the pump, put holes in the cannister , you dont need the hanger to do the 3/8 full tank of fuel but you could loose an engine it has been done

My opinion is you wanting 500HP , you spent all the money , time , why not finish it right
