I'll try to do it today so I can say for sure if it does or doesn't work with this fob and the 2014.
Did you have any luck with programming your key?

Anyway, I still can't get it to program. He sent me a link to a video demonstrating the procedure (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7_HmTNcmHM) - which is incredibly simple - but it doesn't work on my 2014 SE hatch. I assume the 2014's are programmed differently than the 2012 and 2013 models.

Admittedly, I haven't tried the procedure outlined by vegachicago...it certainly doesn't seem like it should be that complicated, especially since others have had plenty of success doing it the "normal" way (turn the key to "on" 4 times in 6 seconds, then hit "unlock" on each fob). I suppose I should give it a shot, though. I've also contacted Welly again to see if he has an update to the procedure for 2014 models.

So you tried the off and on first with both of the oem fobs and then lastly with the replacement flip key?

Someone mentioned something about having the car door open during the process, but not sure when to have door open or closed. I will look that link up later and reply with those instructions.
In the mean time good luck. I know it's frustrating.
I am at a conference and will be back to my tablet at the room in a while.

I ordered this one and it has a separate battery "door", different from how the entire key opens up (so you could glue it closed if you had trouble with it popping open). I haven't had a chance to use it, yet, because the first one he sent had an issue with the flipping mechanism (I don't think it's broken, I just think the spring was installed wrong). Artiway sent me a whole new key and I haven't gotten around to swapping blades and programming. Hopefully I'll do that tonight or tomorrow and can comment on range and how durable it is.

Any updates on this?

If you are looking to buy a replacement flip key remote for a 2014 Ford Focus SE these are the specs for the OEM FOB:

FCC ID: OUCD6000022

IC # 850K-D6000022 CM5A15K601-AA
Freequency 315 mhz
Chip ID Texas ID 4D 63 80 BIT
Ford Part # 164-R8046

The flip key remote that I found which meets the specs to work with a 2014 Ford Focus SE from the aforementioned ebay seller artiway(Welly) is at this link http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-DESIGN-A...3D280705802364
