|2whluge||I have a slightly different problem. I hit a snow drift with my wife's 2012 SE hatch and cracked the bumper which broke off two of the bezel tabs and one of the fog light anchors. I am NOT going to replace the bumper. I'm thinking either epoxy or clear silicone caulk to anchor everything. The only damage to the bumper was the fog light deal so if I can fix this, I am back in good graces with my wife.|

|saintsfins||Great thread. I just did mine in a few mins with the card method from the front. I bought black ones off ebay. Slide a flexible card under the bottom until you hear/feel the click, then use some kind of hook/bent tool to pull from inside the cover's rim. Both popped out easily.|

I tried doing it the easy way couldnt get it to come out.
Anyone know how to remove the fog light bezels, or even the fog light entirely the "right" way?

I realize this is an old thread but it needs to be sticky....took 30 seconds to get them out.
Whomever came up with this "thank you".

I like using Rust-Oleum because it's pretty inexpensive. In my experience it does seem to take a little while longer to harden than other paints but it can be worth it because it is pretty tough. If warm out (above 70°) i usually let the parts sit in the sun and allow the sun to bake the paint for 4-5 hours before reinstalling. If it's cold and the part is small enough i put it in a 200°F oven (with the door open) for 20-30 min to harden the paint.

Plastic card technique is the easiest way to remove the bezels. 👍👍👍
