Red01Focus i thought the reason it didn't fit was because its meant for a hatchback not a sedan

redwake Ah yes the Mandrel vs Crush bend issue is on the radar; thanks for looking out.
08-21-2012 09:20 PM
LilBluFocus 99% of exhaust places only use traditional bends UNLESS expressed.

Magus2727 ^^^ sometimes you just have to watch for the material and bend options. places like Trubendz are mandrel bent and they identify the material. For that cheap they may not be using stainless steel or a low quality SS. they also will most likely do traditional bends.

redwake Myself.. I'm going for a custom.. Local shop said they can weld it up out the door <$200

yellow_focus_tim im just saying that i had to bend and pull and push to get it to line up right. mine has no exhaust leaks so idk ho te fswerks could with it being soo top of te line. but i guess anything is possible

darossi3 You know, even the "Higher Quality" pieces can be a little off. I have FSWerks Stealth, Headers, Downpipe... and i can hear and smell an exhaust leak. When i took off my straight pipe to put the resonator on, i could see where exhaust was leaking.. So im going to eventually have them chop the flanges and weld. Just an FYI... Sounds AMAZINGLY good though...

yellow_focus_tim i have this exhaust system. i personally think it is not loud enough but it does have a good sound to it. it doesnt sound ricey at all i like it. im thinking about deleting the resonator so it will be louder. mine just doesnt have the the burnt tip anymore. but just to let you know, mine was kind of a pain in the ass to put on. they dont fit 100% so you will have to have someone help youpush and pull so it lines up better. the tip in kinda off a little bit.

LilBluFocus don't go by what my experience was though. a few people got this same exhaust and it bolted right up. mine just so happen to need adjusting. it sucks but hey, isn't this why we modifiers do what we do?
