I'm getting a crunching type noise from the front end over slow speed bumps/driveway entries/dips in the road. It has only started happening since our temps have dipped below about 35 degrees.

Hi wizzells,

Have you been able to talk to your dealer about this? Please let me know, along with your mileage.

Since I couldn't reduce the noise present by sliding a plastic card into the gap, I'm not 100% certain that this is it. However, I may not have been able to slide the card in far enough. Given that I was able to produce a rattle upon striking the pinch weld area, there's a good chance this might be related to the issue.
not sure if the pic from prior post referenced above will show
well perhaps this might have been the issue..
I actually had to resort to the same solution as prescribed by others before me and sold the car.
Ford changed those mounts 4 or 5 times in the 50+k miles as the car would destroy the mounts every 5-7k
shame as the car had so many other great qualities

Hi dnjnkns,

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a supplement to a vehicle's repair manual and does not suggest nor provide additional coverage. Coverage of any repair is determined by eligibility under the provisions of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, a Customer Satisfaction Program or a Recall.

Either way, I'm happy to look into this. Thanks! Go ahead and send me a PM with your VIN, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location. When was the last time you were at the dealer for the concern?
