Haven't gotten it done yet. Not enough time to look into it, plus other expenses took precedence over the tint.

However, we had two of the same car before. Both with leather. One with 35% tint and one without. I can say without a doubt that the tinted car was enormously better regarding keeping the heat down. Tint won't prevent the sun from coming through the windshield so you may be better if with some sort of shade there to prevent the seats from getting too hot.

Direct from the Wife: "Unless I'm parked with my windshield directly in the sun, it never gets as hot as it used to before the tint."
I already use a sun-shield for the front windshield, helps a little. Thanks for the insight, I'll be doing a tint in the next few weeks.

GMconvert Yea, I wish I would have taken before pictures but I really didn't plan on modifying this car at all. There goes that idea!

GMconvert These were taken at 7 tonight with overcast skies:

I'll take some more next time it's sunny (supposed to be rainy all weekend here).

MT_SnB I think I'll be going with the 35% too once I get around to doing everything. Really don't feel like having any negative encounters with LE...especially since I'm planning on going in that direction career wise hahaha
