Paladin i'm gonna bump this because i feel the need to. there will be some pics of my most recent mod (taht everyone thinks i'm crazy for doing.

but its the dead of winter. its dirty as hell, its friggen cold out. and i gotta go to the junkyard or something to get a new drivers side interior door handle. i broke mine real good. ive also gotta look at getting this car into a body shop. i want to adress teh small rusty sopts creeping up on it. and get it lookign right again. plus she's coming due for a major suspension overhaul ( bushings and junk) and i may be finally comign around to ne of my boost projects getting off the ground. that is if i can track down some proper sized bolts and piping couplers. the centrifugal supercharger ive been sitting on for a couple years is the most complete. so that is where i'm focusing my time when it comes available.

Paladin battery isnt doing too bad at all actually. i jsut need to figure out eh random stumble/ stall i ahve. i replaced teh battery cables (and routed them better for this. i am going to make some upgraded grounds this week from some old power wire i hope it helps out in that aspect. other than this the car hanst skipped a beat. i need a timing belt soon and i thik i gotta replace teh vct solenoid. but this engine is a tank man, and its ready to see some boost at 200k miles, lol.

Blue5ive How is your battery still holding up? Been thinking about getting one for the weight savings and to free up a little space in the engine bay. Doesn't get very cold here every and I drive my car every day.

Paladin not really. i should get some. and for all wondering about eh battery tray its a 1 of 2 in existence. made by omnispeed out in cali. omnifocus on fj has the only other one. he built them.

the cars current state is kind of sad. apart from being laid off at my new job with almost no money coming in. and trying to fix my running issue ive had. ive managed to do the following

blow up teh tensioner pulley on my way to work (towed home with car dolly, which resulted in my lip getting ripped off, and further damaging things on and attached to teh front bumper. (like turn signal on the drivers side, the fender liner.

tensioner pulley has been replaced with the billet one from cfm. and thank god i didnt blow the engine up. when it started overheating i shut it down immediatley.

i have a new drivers side fender liner, radiator surround plastics, wind diffuser tray under the bumper and core support thing, battery cables, new hood release cable (broke that this winter too) to go on.
further mods were an aem cai (got on trade for stock intake stuff) which i lost teh filter and stuff due to a massive snowdrift (ran it over,FML) and rigged up a decent solution for now its not pretty but it works.
found my old hurst pistol grip knob and mounted that along with a blackwood euro surround with clock 9that needs to be wired up. and now i have a popped seam in my drivers seat. i am thinking of getting teh seats re done with like a dark brown leather. and then dying my blue door cards black. and ditching the back seat totally, what do you think....
