Good point. I used to run my Probe GT 2.2 turbo on 87 octane.

According to Ed Wallace every car will run fine on 87 octane, but you'll lose HP and torque running 87 when 91/93 is required / recommended.

Truth in Ruin Cars run on gasoline.

Miss Lippy's car is green...

MK3 does like the high octane down here where it hot most the time. Lot of times we don't have the cooler air and what we have is high humidity so we are burning water. To produce power we need octain. Lol
I agree with ya PrDawg. I've run all three grades in it and I actually like how my Titanium behaves running on premium. The engine run smoother plus it seems to have a little more get up and go. Even though I can, haven't run any E85 in it yet.

bigspoondude I have noticed a very slight increase in "instant" MPG but my foot seems to have become a LOT heavier. The motor runs smooth as butter and the car feels like a bit of a go-kart. I actually experienced some scary understeer mobbing down backroads to make it to an overtime shift. Added an AEM Dry Flow this tank and filled up with some E0 92 Chevron. Will post numbers back when I have them but the roads are frozen at my house so the S10 got some BFG's and is seeing daily status until the weather gets better.
