I agree with a lot of what you're saying but I think it's fairly common for automakers to offer a lot of equipment/features to drum up interest in the first model year of a new vehicle then trim back to save costs.

Side note, when did Ford say the engine cover made the car run hot?

Hate to say it dude, but the Focus initially and still is Designed in Europe... came out a yr before in Europe for the MKIII and like 2 yrs sooner for the 2000. As for the Body Kits, I can Get the Zetec S kit, soon the Loder1899 and Stoffler kits.

Me too - but they had to leave something for Lincoln to base their [future] vehicles off of... lol

Shade-010 Zetec Kits Are available, Rear Valance will be available sep also. Soon from RDC as we are building a rear valance for the sedan, then the Hatch one will be sold separately .
