Ha. Have fun. That's the same place I went, same MOS as well. Are you OSUT?

Have fun in FLW.. that place is the butthole of America. Hopefully you get put in 787.. best DFACs on the whole base. At least they were when I was there in 09.

But listen to Graves, make copies of everything!!

Graves Have fun. Word of advice. Try your best to keep records of everything. Medical, promotion, awards..........it's a pain to try to locate them years down the road. VA lost my records so I can tell you how much of a pain it is.

Whoops. I was thinking 21B for some reason. I have a few MP friends. My room mate was also a 31B when I was Single, living in the Barracks at FLW. I am a 91E, used to be 44E (Machinist) now the Army calls it Allied Trades Specialist. Get as much training as you can handle. When you get your E5, look into being a Dog Handler as a MP or maybe CID. Both of those guys had good gigs when I was in Afghanistan. I am reclassing to 89D in January, so back to the TRADOC World for me.

I was stationed there for a little over a year. I am now stationed at Fort Hood, TX. Good Luck with Basic and AIT. My advice for you is keep the Drill SGT's happy and make friends with everyone in your Platoon or try to.
Thanks alot for the advice. I plan on taking and doing everything i can. But im not an engineer, im Military police.
