+1
I've also heard of a few people trimming some of the plastic above the surface the filter goes on.

I ran the K&N Typhoon for over a year, 20,000 miles, and it never once fell off.

So i either have to use something to hold the filter in place or remove it and go back to stock... urgh..

Meh I'm an idiot. I'm clearly not a car person but over tightening the filter (due it it falling off so many times!) cracked my MAF tube/housing where the K&N filter will not stay on.

asting I've had mine on for 6 months without issue, and plenty of potholes/bumpy roads. YMMV, but no problem on mine.

Any updates on this from k&n?

Mine ran fine for months, then one day it felt it, I couldn't keep it on, and by over tightening it each time it cracked. 5 times its fell off this week.
I emailed K&N and will be going back to stock. So much for 250 bucks.

Click on the blue "this".

I can see how that's confusing.
Some forums underline as well when you hyperlink.
