blck01zx3 I do believe the stickers are K&N, DNX and AEM. Those are some pretty hardcore stickers. That might be the reason he beat me.

EURO04SVT Should definitely take him. I took down an IS300 the other morning leaving Starbucks then that same car ride about 4 to 5 minutes after that event I went at it with an RSX typeS and he didnt get a good launch nor did I but I stayed a fender ahead all the way through 4th gear and I backed off. He praised the svtf at the redlight we came up on as Im sure he thought he had a clean and solid advantage. The IS300 surprised me as I didnt anticipate a race as I hold my Starbucks so it doesnt dump and he launched and I played catch up from a normal roll off and caught him in second and pulled 3rd. I drove well as I was getting that 3rd gear shift bark of the tires that threw the trac light flash

Hahaha, I said that and everyone tried to call bullshit on me.

Consistancy in shifting and shiz has alot to do with it...try differnt things, listen to people that drive well, see what works best for you.

EuroZX3Focus dude he beat you because of the stickers lol, actually the V2 intakes work wonders for the H22s not a bad intake, wish they had one for the focus

blck01zx3 Yea the Prelude had some mods including a DNX exhaust, Ractive Header, AEM V2 Intake, and some stickers. I have the video if I ever learn to do the video on the internet thingie. Maybe I can have my friend do it. And yes I know I should have beat him, but I am new to this car and I havent really learned it yet, I will get there.

Hypnotic Best way I have found to launch the SVTF is to launch at around 3500, but dont just dump the clutch. These cars without mods or a tuner like revs, feather the clutch out, even a little bit of wheel spin is good, just dont roast them out. Bang second, and THEN dump the clutch/mat the gas, and shift out like normal. Dont shift until AT LEAST 6200+ and keep your foot at least lightly in the gas pedal to keep the rev drops to a minimum. I have pulled 15.0s off a bone stock SVTF with this technique consistently.

bowersdaazian well gearing could also be the culprit. While the lude needs only 3 gears to get to 110, the SVT needs 4. And the launch and shifting, it all plays into his win.
So work on your launches and shifting, then challange him to a rematch.
