Eastwood I have 2 focuses zx3 now :) and I am simply put everything that is good from one to another one and sell the one that I don't need - and I have 2 transmissions one is early and another one is late style, I want to put on my 2002 - transmission from 2003 which has different shifting and I will simply change cables and sifter tower - or I don't really need to change shifter tower and can use my svt steel shifter tower with sts
does anybody know if gear ratio has been changed for this years ? does anybody have done it ?

iroc34 The shift arms move in a totally different way. And they will swap. You can install the newer style on an older focus. But you will have to change the cables also.

ZXthrizzle05 what sthe difference?

iroc34 I do believe the pre 2002.5 needed the bolt mod. But the newer style shift towers on the focus really never had an issue.
