BowerR64 I just switched it back yesterday (July 9 2013) the bottom end got a little better and there is no hesitation now from idle to the pickup.

I drove the flapless intake for a little over a year only had Tom adjust it a few times then left it.

I did notice when i had some nice cool days it ran alot better for some reason.

Maybe if i had Tom adjust it more it would of got better. Its hard with an auto transmission you cant play around with the RPMs like a manual.

The flapless intake was still better above 3K once i got to 3K it pulled better then the stock one. The only problem is the auto trans likes to shift around 3K and under it seems like. Only when i really step into the throttle will it run the RPMS up and i just dont drive like that enough to justify the sluggienss of daily driving with it.

It was fun to do though, i had fun building it and playing around with it.

Ill get some pictures of the intake and post them in the F/S section later. I kept all the stuff i used and bought all new stock stuff for the new intake.

I put alot of time into the flapless one.

Use it w/o the tumble flaps. For me it makes the motor run smoother. I was asking Ronnie if he filled up all the shaft holes or just where the actovator arm is. Would anyone know if the escape manifold has all the same mounts & stuff as a 23 Foci manifold minus of course the imrc?

well i plugged them all because i didnt want any certin cylinder to off. I didnt want anything to mix or get better or worse performance for some reason.

Im running an auto and for some reason it seems to want to run alot around 3k cruising and shifting i guess for gas milage.

I feel for my car it was better with the flaps in there.

I dont want to put it back because i did ALOT of work on the flapless intake but i just prefer it how it was with an auto tranny
