I plan to get a cat for under the car, but I like msisco08's question too.
There is two o2 sensors that run on top of the trans, and then one that comes off the valve cover.
So which out of the three, is the one that stays?

|VEGAS||keep in mine that your when you put in the header your taking out the CAT, You get inspected with no cat your looking at a federal crime. So if your going to take the risk of using a header get a High Flo Cat after the header then at least your legal in the Feds eyes.. you may still be asked to revert it back before passing. But like many on here do, they remove it, and replace after each inspection. I am lucky as I do not need to worry about inspections in NYE county in Nevada|

|msisco08||I'm havin the same issue mine is an 04 d23 putting on a cosworth header factory had 3 o2s one with a black plug grey plug and a blue plug which ones will I need and will it run without a tune ne help would be greatly appreciated|

Ok, can't wait to get started on this.

Don't know what to tell you about emissions, maybe a fab'd heat sheild that looks OEM?

|K26||You keep the top o2 sensor. Put the wide band after the o2 sensor on install|

Okay^ thanks. But so I'm buying Buickboys old OBX header soon hopefully, if he ever sends me a pic, but he said it had two holes, one for a wide-band, and one for the o2 sensor.
Where is there o2 sensor that is staying? Is it down after the cat, and the wide band sensor is up top on one of the tubes?
Just trying to get a basic layout in my head for how this set-up is sopose to look, and where everything is located, I know the EGR system will need to be deleted too, and I know how-to on a Zetec, but how is it on a Duratec?
I seen before that it has a tube that comes off of the intake manifold, and connects to the sensor on top of the thermostat housing, and then runs one more line to the tube coming off the header that will be gone, so is it as easy as block the little hole on the intake manifold and get the tune?
