sleepyboy Yup, today we got the blue piece of paper that we were supposed to have.. So you literally just need a blue paper with their name and address on it and you can get any kid you want off the bus..regardless who you are, just need a blue paper...

TheRealDeeej Yeah that's pretty pathetic. Won't give the parents their damn kid.
Here's what's even more pathetic. I had a few schools in my previous route. I went in to service the kitchen at a few of them. Walked in through a side door that was unlocked, walked through the halls into a busy cafeteria full of kids. Not once did anyone question who I was. Granted I'm in a uniform, but hell, anyone can wear a uniform. So here is a random ass man walking through a school with a tool bag that could have quite literally anything in it and not even questioned once. But god forbid a parent picks up their child.

I don't think I drive enough to warrant having all those mods on a daily

sailor Security on delivering the kids only to the person with the ppwk. is wild, things have sure changed.

Sounds like you have to be there or have someone there with the ppwk. for the kid to get home.

Walked from K to 8th, HS was a block and a half further so had to Bus it for HS.

Well my son's first day of school wasn't that good, better for him then us though. Bus driver wouldn't let him off the bus because we didn't have some blue paper that they never told us we needed. My wife went up there 4 times and I was there twice when she asked the teacher if we had everything we needed for him to ride the bus. She had to go up on the bus and pull him over the seat. I'm showing them pictures that he's our son and everything. They even said "we know he's yours, but we can't let him off without the blue paper". The blue paper that the teacher who was riding the bus didn't even know what it looks like... And if they know he's our son then wtf let us have him.. I ended up calling 911 which transfered me to two different dipatchers and then to Rosenberg police who then tried transferring me to the Transportation dept which never answered probably from the hundreds of other parents who are also calling cause they couldn't get there kids. WTF these people can't think for themselves? He's our son you know he's ours wtf.. My wife ended up going on the bus and pulling him over the seat and walking off with him. We are so pissed.

Plus on top of that he pee'ed himself twice, once at school and the second time on the bus and he didn't even eat his lunch. This is after we had to go back up to school to bring him his lunch box and my wife even handed it directly to his ******g teacher.. Teacher and school are gonna learn who the I am pretty quickly tomorrow..
wow really..... what are you suppose to do?

sleepyboy I really wish we could home school like Mark but we're idiots.. I'd look into home schooling online but after watching John Oliver's show last night about charter schools and even the online ones didn't fill me with confidence.
