TxMedic Well the dealership obviously does not want to do any work on my car. Just got aa phone call saying that they could not replicate any of my complaints and that my car would be ready soon. After verbalizing my displeasure they said they had one more person that would look at it and then they would let me know. I really wish iI didn't have to jump through all these hoops to get aa known problem fixed.

If you have any problems, you should consult Meagan the ford rep here and get your case escalated.
There is a revision F fix that appears to be making a permanent fix to these transmissions, including so many of the symptoms formerly incorrectly described as "normal".

All the shaking and jerking and making the rest of the car fall apart, I now have so many rattles its not funny. Three year old car and having to shove cardboard in headliner to quell the rattling sounds and well and jamming pieces of cardboard around gauge cluster as it's rattling too. Needless to say I am no longer the Ford fan I was, ok now that I got that off my chest does anyone know if any new software updates or anything else I can do? The last software update was in Jan it was 14-0197. The cars not worth squat so no point trading it in at this point, but something has got to give.
Hi badhac,

I want to see how I can put the "fan" back in fanatic. :) Just to clarify, the last dealer visit was in January? I recommend setting up an appointment to have a new diagnosis. Once you do, please send me a private message with your VIN, updated mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location.

Any updates from today, and is your Focus still at your dealer?

Hi RonW956,

Glad to hear your clutch concerns have been alleviated. Have you spoken with your dealer about your raspy horn? I want to see what I can do to assist, short of getting it some hot tea. ;) Please send me a private message with your VIN, mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location.

Based on their previous post, pretty sure that's a 4k difference between what they owed and what they got on trade.

Slow_Ride The reprogram only works for about 3k miles until the shuddering starts again. Your best bet is to find a dealer that will perform the clutch replacement no questions asked. I have replaced so many at this point that I could do them with my eyes closed haha

Too bad the resale value of a 2013 SE with 18k miles is around $14k- $18k and I owe $19k... (insert angry face here)

I have not had any problems with it till about a month or two ago i have been having problems with it not shifting smoothly and sometimes when i take a corner and step on the throttle again it will rev up before finially catching and then putting the power down. I havent made an apointment at the dealer yet but soon will. I am at 58,230 miles so i need to do it before i hit 60,000miles the limit for the powertrain warranty.
Hi TxMedic,

Once you have an appointment set up, please let me know. I'll check out some additional assistance. :)
