yellowcosworth04 I have an fs werks one. Basicly brand new ill sell you for $100. Its not carb. But its easy to switch out.

evileee K&N does have a carb exempt model for '05 2.3's here

homey55 No problem guys. I was looking at this for my '03 2.3 pzev but it was not made for my year and I was worried about SMOG so I found a used Cosworth and now I pass with no problem.

quacking05focus Wow surprise for me too...didn't know there was a 50 state legal intake for 05s but kind of a bummer that it's not for all duratec motors from 05-up though which makes no sense.

I'd get it if I didn't have the fs werks already. Plus it's not hard to swap intakes at all, especially if you just slap the cone from your intake onto the oem unit leaving off the massive box.

stilix That would be the best thing to do. I could have sworn K&N had a carb legal one. I guess i was wrong.

YellowJellyBean Get whatever intake you want and keep the stock intake. When it comes time to get a smog check, swap the stock intake back on.
