Here's a couple of random snaps from a recent show. I should have some new, small parts coming soon to let the car progress a bit more before winter hits. Hopefully.

Get a 3 stage primer, base, and clear. That's the best way to do it. You can even get it in cans. For the side skirts, you will need to smooth them, and clean them very well. I would start with 100 grit sandpaper, then make my way up to 800 to make them smooth. After that, clean the side skirts VERY well with alcohol and make sure you let it dry and don't touch them with bare fingers. Use gloves. Before you spray the primer, spray an adhesion promoter. You can buy that at any automotive store or paint store. Oreilly's and autozone usually has adhesion promoter from duplicolor in a can. You spray it very light and only do 1-2 coats. I usually do 2 mist coats. Then you do the normal primer, based, and clear coats.
EDIT: I don't want to hi jack this thread. If you have any questions, send me a PM

The show that took place on September 5th was met with an unfortunately-timed rain storm but we just moved underground and went ahead with it as planned.

It was still a fun day and was absolutely worth it to see all of these together, in person. Despite this eye candy the Focus still got attention too.

The Tarmacs? Nope, they're the winters. They'll be back on within a month or 6 weeks probably.

Twenty Over the long weekend were perhaps the last two shows for the Focus this season. Winter is definitely coming.

Thanks! The Tarmacs have seen a winter already anyway. I'm not concerned.
