You need to check for errors (not sure if the free version allows this) via torque i guarantee you will have some, I went through 5 cheapys before I broke down and got the PLX, Im just trying to save people time and money in the long run.

make sure you set "faster communication" in settings of torque

iminhell Tom I think you're thinking of something else; infact I'm sure of it.

Torque is an application for fancy cellphones that is basically a 'desktop dyno'. The user can't change anything.

The dongle he's waiting for plugs into the OBDII port and sends that data via Bluetooth to the phone.
