|Timken500||Thanks going to order them from massive with the bolt. Think I am going to do this to keep my peace of mind. Does everyone just buy the Motorcraft Timing belt ??|

Massive sells them (vendor on here you've probably seen) for I think around $30. OTC sells them for probably cheaper, in fact here's a link for a $22 set http://www.tooltopia.com/otc-tools-6...aign=nextag_r1
I just googled "Ford Zetec timing belt tool" and saw a lot of options.

|blackonblacksvt03||good writeup on the zx2 but very little applys to SVTFs being as we have no lineup hole on the vct gear that and zx2s are intake VCT where ours is exhaust|

I've done a few SVT Timing belts, including my own, and I can see where you ran into some fun issues.
But after the first time, I have the right tools and help to get it down pretty quickly now.
Props on working on it for the first time.
