The turbo manifold will replace the header, but you can keep the st catback.

Interesting setup, but I'm sure this will disappoint the turbo fans since it won't be able to provide the instant "pulled back into the seat" feel.

sailor Once you add in the full exh. and installation (not to mention the warranty) that price seems similar, maybe even cheaper.

Estimated cost of full kit and tuning at ~ $4500-4750 currently without exh./installation here.

I've been silently watching the development of a Turbo kit for MK3 Foci here on FF. It's surprising to me that PR-Tec (The Chinese build team) was able to get a kit out first. I just found out their kit is available on TaoBao (akin to eBay in the US) for 38,000 RMB (5900 USD!!!!) including a catback, exhaust, install, and 1 year warranty. Seems pricey ...

?? PR-tec 3020 ?? 12? ???? ???? ?? ????-??????????

It says they managed to get 242HP at the crank (Probably reverse guesstimated by WHP via Dyno) and 35.5 Kgm of torque.

blitzkrieg978 I saw this Turbo kit for MK3 Foci 2.0 DCT online. They are claiming 0-100Km in 6-ish seconds and 8Km/L. Sustained boost at 0.6 Bar and Instant boost at 0.9 Bar. Apparently it's a TD005 turbo and software by SCT. Here'a a video they made (Chinese):

Tom
It was full of false hope. I am sure everyone who saw the title and post got the biggest grin. Even after that I still have hope for yours tom which by the way any news on and just curious with your tune and having our info with you would be easier to send a tune out for your kit when you make one?
