Big Body If you live in a non emissions county they shouldn`t fail you on your saftey only inspection. On the inspection menue for saftey it does have a section for exhaust system. But it doesn`t ask for the mil
So youshould be good

Trey Here is my two cents.
If tou dont have emission testing then go ahead and do it. I have nevet had anyone pop the hood on any of my vehicles, so do it!

SvviftSVT yeah, i had a mil eliminator, but it disappeared...

but with my tune, i don't throw a code (0420) for no cat

If they give you any flak then take it somewhere else. Or you could at least ask them to run it through and see if it passes. With a MIL eliminator you can pass. I did for years and now I even pass with a tune.

This is what I was trying to say without misleading him. I am a state inspector and could care less if you had a cat or not! All I care about is that there are no exhaust leaks and the computer is clear.
