Wagamos Well the only thing its with is the boost gauge i think. I dont think I need to go harder... and where im at im not seeing any loss in boost so I dont think I need to go harder. What would you consider a good vac source? Im sourcing directly from the manifold. This is the Comp turbo you got me like 2 years ago tom. It doesnt seem like turbo noise but then again im not an expert.

1turbofocus I set them so 3 threads are showing left on the screw , I wouldnt go much softer then the screw about half way out , depending on the turbo it may be a turbo noise vs a BOV surge

Another thing do you have your Vac line to a direct good Vac source dedicated line , shorter the better

BOV Tuning question

Ok so I just replaced my type s b/c i hated the whistling. Got the type RS and was trying to tune it to get rid of the chatter/comp surge. I have it as soft as I can get it and Im still getting surge (at least at lower boost). Should I take one of the springs out to soften up the valve even more and go from there?

This is a recirculated setup btw.
