LD5050 Ah, I may have misheard him. I bought and provided my local shop with the cam gear tool, but still, it's nice to know they are available to do more performance-oriented work on my Focus in the future.

VenomRogue Allright, im here at dallas mustang now..

You were talking to Archie (the tuner), and Noah runs the shop. He says there was a misunderstanding, they dont have the cam tools required for the focus.

LD5050 It's all good. Thanks for the replies, guys.

I'll give COBB a call once I get it back from ACAR in Longview.

And I'd definitely appreciate anything you hear on my area, SPRAYPAINT.

Venom, the guy I talked to on the phone even had me hold on a second so he could ask his shop manager. I understand it really equated to : we're too busy or the job's not enough money. Either way, same end result. These crazy Focii and their funky tool requirements....

crice8 there are a couple of places here in tyler that could install parts for you. they don't do dynos or custom tuning but they do performance parts. as for custom tuning COBB is in Dallas

SPRAYPAINT Check out AAA shops in the area. They are usually held to a higher standard in order to maintain their AAA membership or certificate.

sleepyboy There is Fast Lane in Houston, I know they did tune a turbo focus one time and one of local guys who is super charged. Personally I think he way over paid, his money in tuning. Your best bet would be getting a remote tune from Tom or FSwerks.

Houston is where it's at for members
