mcouldrey Being in Australia, and with the stupid taxes on importing, no doubt i would have paid more than any of you USA guys can get them for tire rack has the silver ones for 345 each. I think they are the only us importer for oz racing. I paid 400 aus for rims and 175 for pirelli rosso.

bssybeep Very nice wheels and tires. I like the black on red. My baby is Racing Red and these wheels would look great. If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy the wheels and ~how much did they cost with the tires? thanks

Fair enough, and like prv5004 said, they do have a slightly lower profile.

The splash guards were a good addition, as well. I just installed my rears (to complete the set) and they are well made and accent the car nicely.

In case noone else has said it ...

Question: Why did you go with the 225/45-17 instead of the OEM size 215/50-17?

BrApple those seem pretty heavy still for a 17" wheel. The Superleggeras I have for my Contour are only suppose to he 15 lbs for a 17" wheel.

Glad you like them but I really dislike black wheels.

prv5004 They look pretty good to me. Good choice of tire size too; that slimmer sidewall looks better (6mm less), and it physically lowers the car, even though it doesn't help the wheel gap.
