Your magnet thing! Can I use that as one of my methods of alternative power source for the project?

It uses Oxygen from the air.

Now only if it could collect some of that water and fed it to a water and or ice dispenser, that just be the beans to it's bacon. Or even a keurig... but that'd probably just be in the Rolls Royce version.
4.1 kg at 5000psi is fairly large. I would imagine the tank would have to extremely durable under such pressure. As it uses the hydrogen, does the tank shrink to keep the pressure or does pressure drop?

FreeFocus It did sound nice, I just thought the huge pipes on a small car looked goofy.

I can't believe that only a few years ago, water powered cars were super futuristic. I actually remember a book where the cars ran on water and water prices were really high.

sailor Check the real current sources for Hydrogen: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.eXY&cad=rja

95% from hydrocarbons, with most of that from natural gas.

Straight electrolysis is WAY too expensive, and adding distilling from ocean water would be crazy expensive. It's not even the latest method for getting drinking water from the ocean (diffusion membrane plants are catching on).

Another case where the "green" propaganda doesn't match reality.

BTW - I'm an outdoors person and hate messing the environment in stupid ways, environmental activists at the extreme are just off the wall. Getting rid of people because people mess up the Earth is a key point (hidden agenda) if you look close at them. Of course they all think they're part of the elite few who will still populate the Earth. (rant)

A1_Fares In a way they run on water! Since you need to make water to create the electricity. Lol

However much they use, its easy to make. Just take ocean water, boil it to get rid of the unnecessary minerals, then diffuse it. Unless there's other ways to find hydrogen in nature which I doubt since it's a freaking micro bomb.
