SydneyRoo Ultra-gauge has apparently updated their product (v1.2) so the battery drain issue doesn't exist any more.

Vanquished Does the scangauge (or other OBDII) reader give a HP number in avg or real time?
As stupid as it may sound I'm curious about HP on 93 vs 87 fuel in the 2012 Focus. The scangauge website says that it does but im skeptical. I am also planning on getting a new intake and it would be good to see that as well. Suppose I wouldn't need accurate results just results are are consistent when being inaccurate (to see gains in HP if there are any)

If you use the search option I'm pretty sure you will be able to find the thread that has the mpg curve. Not sure if he used a scan gauge but I've gotten very similar results in my 5 speed.

spiderpig My plug detached so I was able to move it back so the ODB2 connector can fit and the door can close. I have the Dash Commander app for my IPad and Iphone and use on long trips to gauge my milage. Works nicely. Would love to see what the best speed/milage is for highway speeds.

Did you detach the factory cable from the back of the OBDII plug?
No, i did not detach anything... it all just fit fine.... no alterations to either the car or the scangauge.....
