thielt1 Yes I have to look at it again but this is the same way I was going to wire it. Thanks! On thing I was going to ask you though, why is your shroud plastic? The RS version was metal.

also this one I haven't rewired yet because I was still holding out for the harness

daspazzZX3 Don't know about part numbers but I do have pics I'm using in my build thread.

Old harness

The Hot wire

Basically you have three wires, one is hot on leads to thermistor and the last one is ground. I cut the old fan wiring as far back as possible. The grounds all run together. The hot runs to both fans and into the thermistor the other side of the thermistor runs back to a single wire. Thats it...

Turns out I did have to order a thermistor as the one in the RS assembly just didn't seem to work. I installed a temporary remote on switch in the cabin until my thermistor gets here.

Oh and nice shop ya got there Sir!! Keep the faith and get that house all cozied up!!
Thanks for the heads up and if you wouldn't mind detailing part numbers here and maybe some pictures when you are done I would appreciate it!

I really would have been better off from the beginning to just buy an entire focus rs wiring harness as it has been offered to me but at this point a majority of the wiring is already done. Also these were not as readily available when I began this.

Gettysburg150 Man I'm jealous of that shop, would love to have a space like that.

My place was also a foreclosure, and the garage was the deciding factor, go figure haha

Is the strut mount blown out? I've seen sorta the same on the rears of some BMW's and its always the upper mount is trash
