So, anyone cruising around with this nice weather? I thought about going for a drive tonight. Still might do it later on.

My grass is looking rough, my 10 month old daughter naps when I get home from work so starting the lawn mower isn't happening lol. Maybe I should invest in a goat

Both Ford & FCA have been super laid back, I basically come in between 7:30-8 and leave around 4 every day unless I am super busy or if I'm really slow head out well before 4.

Sorry but that's just the way the Japanese roll, very strict schedule
Def the Japanese mentality. When I worked summers at a Japanese manufacturing plant in Mt. Pleasant (CME Mitsuba) they had bells for breaks and stretching music at shift change haha. My mom who is Japanese and worked for the company at the time was super strict about getting to work exactly at 8 and was worried about having to ask to change her schedule from 7-3:30 over the summer so that we could ride together to work.

I sometimes take for granted that my company is super laid back which is awesome. Come in around 7 ish leave around 4 ish and take pretty much 1hr plus breaks. My boss pretty much told me he doesn't keep track of my vacation days either so if I needed an extra day here or there I could lol. Obviously I don't take advantage of it, and as long as you get your work done they don't really care.

blackfx4x4 I only commute about 7 miles to work. Depending on what time of day I leave, it takes about 10-20 minutes. However, I spend my day in a big rig dealing with the rest of the retards on the road. Most of the time I'm down by Indy, and I've hit some real good traffic jams there. Think it took 2 hours one night to go the 2.5 or so miles north on I-69 between 96th st and 116th.

Detroit has been a pain too, though my dad is usually the one who deals with that run. I'm sure he's in a fantastic mood today.

j14woods Rush hour traffic blows. I work at Ford in Dearborn and live in St Clair Shores, I try and leave a few minutes early if I can, a 5 minute difference in leaving just screws my drive home down 94.
