I've contacted the seller of this vinyl to see if I can get a bigger sheet of this tint. I'm going to cover my chrome door molding with it to create a "black chrome" look. We'll see.

i went to a couple tint shops and the wanted $75 for just the tails, another $75 for the headlights. i quickly said no thank you and walked away

Tailight Tint option
I wanted to tone down the bright area of the tailight without tinting the whole thing. I ordered some generic vinyl on ebay for $3.50 shipped and cut it with a template I created. The vinyl I got seemed as nice as the Lamin-X I put on the headlights.

Here's the template I created.
If you print this image to use for a template, print it so the measured line in the center is 251mm. Cut the vinyl for one side, then flip the vinyl over and cut for the other side.
The title of the ebay auction is "Head Light Tint Film - 30x20cm (~ 12"x8") LIGHT GRAY (3M Quality)" and sold by Member id yauyauyen.
You might consider getting a larger piece since it's so cheap. It took about a week from the time I ordered before it arrived.
