MCPunk79 I can't wait to get rollin with Tom's tuning. By just scanning the dyno sheet on my PWSC SVT, he noted some issues and was quick to let me know… I want my car running reliably, and Tom is by far the best in the business at what he does, I mean, this is basically a 23 page thread promoting Tom and the fantastic work he's done in the Focus community.

Free tunes for life, great to deal with and he drives and owns a SVT, have been his customer for over 8 years, have tried his na tune in my first svt and could really tell and feel the difference and now I'm trying his fi tune in my 04 JRSC'd SVT and you can tell he knows this cars more than anybody else, even my wife enjoys the datalogging process, he also send me a tune for passing my obd emmisions ( haven't done it yet).

1turbofocus About anything that comes to the dyno or that goes over water , I am very heavy into the Mercruiser EFI engine tuning

Then pull the car off the dyno take it down the road get on the highway make some pulls the whole 9 yards and every car we tune has great street manners and cruise great, the owner tuned my focus and it was the first he's ever tuned and it made 300hp on low timing and a decent amount of boost on 110 octane it lasted 6 months of track and street driving beating on it constantly and it had great street manners it was a bone stock zetec with 100k miles on it from a local junkyard I daily drove it everyday and got good mpg still. I believe there's a misconception on dyno tuners and how they tune it's not just wot tuning.

We will be retuning my new setup come spring or summer and making some shakedown passes and hopefully my zx3 will be the fastest zetec powered zx3 in the USA. That's the plan anyway and I believe I have a good shot at it

The point I was trying to make was the focus is pretty easy to tune just like a mustang just 4 less cylinders same software alot of same sensors ect. Basically just trying to say there's nothing special about tuning the focus
With 110 octane and only lasting 6 months is saying a lot about how it was tuned , a few have done 300 on 93 and lasted much longer me being one of them and yes on the stock Zetec engine

To be the fastest you will have to run faster then a 10.95 @ 137 mph with DOT tires and make over 723 HP to the wheels ,

The Focus is nothing like the Mustang to tune and for some one to say that speaks volumes about how little he knows about tuning a Focus , I tune both the Focus and the Mustang , I have 11 different software to tune different cars with SCT and Diablosport being 2 of them , I have tuned Mustangs and Foci of about every kind and they are not the same to tune
