jdwhite9547 I dont know how to send a PM - only second time in here... I did find the TSB on the springs though. It is to do with creaking in the front of the car and nothing to do with a rattling and vibrating headliner.

Hi jdwhite9547,

I want to escalate your case and get your regional customer service manager involved. To do so, I'll need you to send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name. I'll get the ball rolling and ensure someone contacts you soon.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks!
Crystal

My dealer today just tried to look anything remotely related to this and came up empty handed. I think Herbz got a story from the dealer to just go away.

For me, my dealer said a retaining clip had come loose. A different tech found the same thing last time. They removed part of the headliner and saw it not holding. Unfortunately, I didn't see what this clip actually is, but the fix my dealer did was to reattach/refasten that clip. So far, it seems to be holding now. If it happens again, we'll see what to do. I have a feeling that the clip is somehow working loose, so it's creating some stress where the fabric meets the plastic frame around my sunroof making it noisy.

TiPilot I think I may have started to have this issue in my car, too. Noticed some rattling from the ambient light controls / moonroof area, which seemed to improve when I pressed against it.

The number for the TSB would be helpful since I'm already taking my car into the dealer next week for the remote start install and I'd like to have them look at it. I have about 850 miles on the car.

ABFORDGUY I'm curious about this TSB# as well. It doesn't show up on my Ford system.

Probably a lot of affected vehicles that need this done according to all the complaints about rattles. I will be looking into this as well to fix my occasional rattling.
x2 please

Bring it up to the dealer, Ford has a bulletin out about the issue!

I love my dealer.
