The cutoff is actually totally fine. I seen someone on FocusST.org post pictures of Spyder headlights where the cutoff line had a ghost effect but when I aimed the headlight at the wall it looked totally fine.
I will update tho.

Here is the cutoff line with super white headlight bulbs which I'm still currently running

Panoptic Cool. I'm interested in seeing how well they fit. How's the cutoff?

RAF_S197 Well. I attempted to I stall HID's in my Spyder projector headlights and they work great.
I haven't finished the install but I wored everything up on the engine bay and it works, no bulb fault light or anything. I will be updating when I install them permanently later this week.

This is what I'm using in my morimoto mini 6.0's. I get a error light for just a few seconds when I first fire the HID's up then it goes off and stays off.

TheHumbleGeek Yup... I've noticed though, it now does make reference to aftermarket HID projector retrofits, which I don't remember it saying before.

Panoptic Only a matter of time in a thread about HIDs that someone posts that article, never fails.

RedDen hey folks,
found this article about HID conversion, extremely useful.

Might prevent some of us from doing that!

Slicknick interesting. I may order the whole kit from them, seem like a nice one. I will have to put this kit back in my miata come spring time.

I have the dip bulb error now, it goes away in five seconds.

Panoptic Nope, no problems. Though depending on your ballast, the extra wattage on startup sometimes causes it to throw a dipped bulb error. Flipping the lights off and back on alleviates that, but it's best to do the relay harnesses too.

Edit: Here's a crappy video with just the Canbus harnesses and no relays. Link

I was told that it would not work. You get no errors?
