I am sure without Tom's input, I would have sold the car years ago.
Another DCT (shudder) fixed and my Custom Tune has been on his Focus for some time and still no shudder

Dont sell / trade and loose money , there is a very good chance I can fix it and make it drive better then it ever has

This is like asking why a receptionist can't take care of you at a business.

It's a customer service position, to handle customer contacts - pass on the info. to the right people to help out - follow up on results for any other assistance needed.

They aren't techs, let alone engineers, and even if they were it wouldn't be appropriate for them to discuss anything not official Ford policy on repairs.

If you actually managed to contact a Microsoft person about a Chrome browser issue (G/L), they wouldn't talk to you about how FireFox works better with Win10 for whatever prob. you were having.

The Ford rep here is to try to help people having issues with the Focus or the Ford dealer , They dont even know what a tune is let alone Tom`s Custom Tune or what it does

1turbofocus I have a guaranteed fix for the shudder when you get tired of dealing with Ford

TKG26 I'd guess many think it's normal or gave up.

Honestly I put the complaint in every 8000km with my oil change.. supposedly my next one they promiss me new clutches... I have a life I can't be fighting with them daily.. it's drivable so I'm living with it..

If the depreciation on domestic cars was not so terrible I would trade it in...

If they have never had problem then Ford has never tried to fix anything

Sorry to hear that. Stories like yours are why I gave up and traded mine. No idea how many owners I've seen get a nice fix, then come back in months to years, sometimes only weeks, as the problems return.
Seems like you either never have a problem, or you are stuck forever.
