Carrera26 I agree he is and/or was a great driver, but so is Markko Marten and a couple of their other young drivers, and it doesn't cost a bloody fortune to put them in the driver's seat. Money that will not only keep the whole program alive through rough financial times at Ford, but can further develop the WRC Focus.

bowersdaazian Hey McRae was and still is a great driver. Maybe too expensive for his recent record, but he can still keep pace with the young guns.

Carrera26 Maybe now that they aren't spending a fortune on McRae and bleeding red ink all over the place, Ford can come back and win next year!

jbondjr Yeah, but ford finished second, and Ford took the last two tarmac rounds which are normally domintated by Citroen. So, yeah the car is a good rally car, especially with it being a "year" old (did not get a major overhaul during the season like the Xsara, WRX.

World Rally

Oh man I'm watching the WRC right now and the focus is leading the group in points. They have 26 points. I dont know if anyone likes rally racing but I wasnt really aware until now that the focus was a good rally racer.
