Focus5spd I've been using E10 93 (mostly Shell) for the past couple of months. Overall driveability is noticeably better. Like it!

Jonnandon Good lord this is a long thread, I gave up after like page 15. Ah the octane wars, almost as heated as the caliber wars among gun enthusiasts. I never put anything other than mid grade fuel in my four bangers but after I do a sct tune I definitely will be running premium. Fuel and oil are something you should never go cheap on your car if you want it to last. Oil company hype or not our cars need petroleum products end of story, and I sure as hell ain't driving an EV so I might as well give it the good stuff.

You may get a little bit better mpg based on the fact that Florida is generally very flat.

Wow, that's impressive indeed, I can only get into the 40's if I stay around 55 which almost never happens... e10, 92 octane.

cessna1 I just got back from a trip to Yorktown VA from NW Iowa. Just about all E85. Pretty much a consistent 30 mpg. Best tank was from Charleston WVa up to Indianapolis with a little better than 34 mpg. I did have a little tailwind though. Best price was at North Liberty IA at $1.569. Was running 70 mph or better most of the time. That little engine really likes the high octane of E85. Those of you using E0, what kind of mileage?
