If you work from behind, you can use something like a small flathead screwdriver to one-by-one release the tabs holding them in place.
do you have the part numbers for the black bezels ?

mishka I just found this dark blue one . I want to try that instead of just black. You guys think it will look good on the Tuxedo black? Also, there is Orange available - i'm not getting that but some people might. There is also dark black or bright black - but i'm not sure about either one. I mean, black would look okay but then the bezal would just blend in with the rest of the car.
Suggestions?

( I guess it would be cheaper to pull out the bezal and paint it any color I want? - Or should I have to remove chrome paint first?)

My question is to people, do you all think I should paint it or vinyl it? If paint what color - matte black? And what do you all think about using carbon fiber vinyl for this job? It looks like a tricky surface curvature to work with.

Thanks!

Now, that includes stopping for pictures, taking notes, and fighting with one bezel.

One bezel was being stubborn and took probably 20 minutes to pop out. The other, took seconds. I don't know why it was putting up such a fight but it did.

Provided the bezels don't fight back like mine did, 30 minutes should be enough or even more than enough time.
Same but I think I was more worried about not scratching the paints or knicking anything. Once I had the feel needed for the jimmy motion it was easy. Ford gave me my resolve though. They wanted 143 to put them on.
