Twenty The last two shows of the season that the Focus will be attending are this Saturday, and September 5th. There won't be anything new for this weekend but new wheels and tires are currently on their way to me so for the final show it should look at least a little different.

Twenty That was a busy weekend! Not only was the annual Sunday School show and shine yesterday, but on Saturday a friend had a BBQ to celebrate the opening of his new shop.

Ignore the old sign on the building, that's the old tenant.

The only bad part is the amount of photo editing I have ahead of me now.

Twenty This Sunday is ill.motion's Sunday School show and shine here in Calgary and the Focus will be present!

It's all to support the Calgary Humane Society and a lot of amazing vehicles always show up. I'm sponsoring the show again to help support it and am really looking forward to seeing everyone and all of the cars.

11-4, Max Bell Center, August 9th.

Great looking car, have followed for a while. Also agree about being in winter half the year, you may as well have it look good! The new wheels going to be there on time?
My choice to go with a yellow/blue colour scheme originally began as a nod to Spoon Sports, a famous Honda tuning company. I'm a big Honda fan and was actually shopping for an Integra before I wound up buying the Focus.

The blue also works with the blue details found on the car from the factory - the background of the Ford emblems, the gauge cluster needles, the lighting in the footwells and for the buttons, and so on. I used that for the banner and many decals, plus my shift knob is blue too.

White can also be seen on Spoon cars and I think it just works really well as a third main colour. Also, there is a decal on the front driver's side wheel but it's for The MacKenCo garage actually. That's the name my friends and I have for my garage.

And it's looking like I'll be rolling in to the show on the Tarmacs...

Thank you! I'm extremely proud of how far the sedan has come but don't plan on stopping any time soon.

Very cool to keep the car clean looking with different colors like that.
Personally I love it! I think it may also be personal reasons too. I mean, you have to personally like it to do it right? Haha I am doing a Red/Black/Gold them on the sedan myself. I've always loved the look of gold on red cars, but they are minimal things here and there. Lugs nuts, decals....

papaacer Blue and yellow are pretty close to being complimentary colors. It's yellow/purple blue/Orange so I think since its close, blue accents compliment the yellow. The wheels are white hence the white stripe. So it all goes together.
