*shrug* No worse than burnouts on a manual car... actually, id tend to lean towards it being easier on the clutches than a manual for the simple fact that the PCM can react to sudden throttle input alot faster than a human would ever be able to reach...

I thought maybe you had just bet someone a lunch and using that mode won it for you.

I agree with you, no doubts. It's fun to do with a friend. You get to feel all the torque for 10 seconds. And your friend go crazy haha, wrost if it's a girl.

Does lunch mode deploy extra cup holders/tray tables?
When you remote start the car, and only when you do so, two cups appear in the both holder. In the morning, you get coffee and at night you cold beer.

When you take off, your cup get refilled.

However, Jelf is right that you don't need to put it in sport, drive will work as well... its all computer controlled, so all you are doing, is telling the car to disengage the clutch packs and let the engine free-rev...
Haha. I read before the RPM was holding at 2500, not because of the computer but because of something else (can't remember). I have try DRIVE before but without success. I have doubts now on my experimentation... will try again tomorrow.

Put the car in Sport (S) mode.
Press the brake very hard.
While keeping a foot on the brake, press the gas pedal.
The engine will rev up to 2500 RPM.
