I have gotten the squealing to go away i replaced all the pulleys and went through 4 tenshioners and used the JK6996C belt and everything seems to be great now.
no the BBK is a smaller pulley

|blackfocus2k4||was the BBK pulley the same diamter as the regular pulley what were the difference(measurements) if you can help?|

|justjeffrey||That was a nice find. Especially with the FRBBK. Does anyone know if Ford Racing is still flashing the computers for those kits? Ive got the FRBBK and Ive never had a knocking problem. I would take it easy until you get that knocking pinpointed.|

|blwnsvtfocus||I currently have the same belt squeal! Pissing me off! Lol Only pulleys I havent changed so far are powersteering, a/c, one of the idlers, and I havent touched the s/c. Mayb it's time for new bearings?? New belt, didn't help. Belt dressing didn't help.... If I find anything out, I'll fill ya in.|

i have gotten it installed. i am still having some issuse though.
1. i have a squeel, not sure if its coming from the belt or what.
2. i am having a knocking issuse. around 2000-3500 the knock sensor is getting set off. i went over everything to make sure it was all tight and it seems to be. so hopefully its. not somthing in the motor.
3. last night i went out and started it and there was fuel spraying out the side of the fuel rail. looks like the gasket got pinched and doesnt fit now. its funny because i had been tuning the car for over a week and it wasnt leaking or anything and out of no where it started.. i went to Autozone and all they had was a copper gasket. does anyone know if copper gaskets are okay to use where they will come in contact with fuel?
also any advice on solving the knock issuse would be great!

okay guys here is what i did to solve my problem.....
this is litteraly a BRAND new kit, i got it from a guy who bought it for his focus and then sold the car and kept the kit and put it away so i was the first person to see some of these parts. not many people can say that the just opened the box to a new JRSC for a Focus these days.
this is why i could not get the right sized belt to fit. because i had the NEW style and i needed the OLD style. now that i have the right bracket the correct size belt fits the car and it has been running great.

I had one more thought last night while working on mine. Check to make sure the bypass valve is closing all the way. If the butterfly is not closing it will send boost out of the system.
