FordFocus3 Oh and I'm convinced there is a loose bolt or something behind the headliner... Near the bluetooth module and microphone... I've already had to literally just push a little harder on my D pillar to get it to clip in, as the person at the factory must've literally not been paying any attention whatsoever to what they were doing... Goes to show that quality is generally good at FTM, but not perfect...

FordFocus3 Has anyone ever had the rear hatch seal "rustling" when driving as the body flexes, with the rubber rubbing against the hatch's metal tailgate? I've applying a silicon lubricant to it and it seems to have quietened down completely and made the rear whisper quiet. Shame still about my squeaky/creaky clutch pedal and the drivers seat that creaks every time you sit down on it or move around when sitting down...

ChalupaJones I had the same issue with the rattle in my door. For what ever reason the couple of warm days we had seemed to help. Have you tried pushing up on the headliner at all?

focus rattles

Yes, it's under warranty and I've taken it to the dealer several times. They've replaced the headliner and the lights. It is worse now than before.

Mysticalwaters1 Just wanted to let you all know I too had the rattle in the headliner above the driver and front passenger seat and by the moon roof. Drove me nuts. Really annoyed since it was so new and so random. Seemed much worse in colder temps. Brought to ford dealership they cleaned the moon roof which of corse made it worse. Another visit had a drive with a mechanic of course didn't rattle then but offered me to put foam blocks in it. Dropped the car off again and at end of the day ford tells me they looked into it further the headliner is coming undone is a known issue and they're going to replace the headliner. Jeepers. Hopefully that helps but this was the only forum specifically detailing this issue and really felt brushed off by ford. Really annoying. Hopefully this fixes it and they don't do more damage repairing it.

SuiTnTie Headliner rattle and passenger side door rattle have both been resolved. I still have an intermittent rattle coming from either the steering wheel column or to the immediate right by the a/c vent. I can't tell where exactly and I'm not sure how to isolate it. The rattle is not consistent, but it sounds like a piece of plastic is lose and is shaking/hitting against something.

No problem. I already had them bookmarked for when I decide to fix my own rattles.
