emordnys i started my car this morning and bits and pieces of piston shot out of the side and bottom of motor

but i sold it for 500

mikebontoft that does suck man.

im fine with that. the clutch had probably less than 3k miles on it anyway and cost me like $200 new. never mentioned that lol.

jmcrides03 i made a forsale thread and noted that if someone wanted to do a full swap to pm you about the rest of the parts. itd be cool if we could sell it all at once. we could both use the money. id make out better if i had ya ship the rest and sold it as a full kit but i dont wanna deal with the hassle and im sure you dont mind a little extra money

mikebontoft I need the outer cv cups so I can hold the bearings tight without a full axle. the rest I'll try to sell.

mikebontoft decided to update this here as well. Only took me a year to pull the oil pan. lol. AMAZED this thing ran like it did not to mention I didn't lose any oil. Seriously, it was still full. Never smoked.

good piston after polishing it up

missing just a little bit of it

good to know this came from a 2.0 piston. lol

drunkyoda lol i had this happen... my car wouldnt start after it happened... i bumped it a couple times and that is it... my head looked almost just like yours.

emordnys i think im going to part it out i got a horrible deal on it paid 2500 for a salvage title spi that ran for 4 months. going to look further into the problem then decide in the mean while if anyone needs a part let me know and well work a deal
