|jbjs40||I have a 2015 se automatic. I know, I know, already took it in and had it reprogrammed. Not so bad after that though so anyways.... I'm getting an ST next year! Did the resonator thing at the bottom of the air box just pop out or what? I had the cover removed but wife didn't like the growl. It's like a lion's roar but from a kitten. SO I kind of like the balls to back up the roar and decided to put the cover back on. I'm adding a free flow AEM air filter and plan on removing that thing your holding in your hand (resonator?) I'm going to seal or mesh the opening though. So step by step how did you get the bottom of the air box out and the resonator? I already deleted the snorkel and formed a air inlet ram for the opening where the snorkel was. I will keep you posted on progress.|

|Mrlandy||OK, All done. Made snorkel brace and grille piece from box aluminum. Heat wrapped snorkel. Now I need to modify the 2 tiny air tubes that are part of stock air box.|

Why can't you post pics of the hood up with the snorkel installed?
Water intrusion is not an issue needing to be dealt with, btw. Short of driving into a tsunami, not enough water will be able to get into that small of an opening to cause an issue.

I printed a second one because I wanted the exposed snorkel to angle (down) lower for water drain. That's why it looks tipped forward. There are drain holes for water right under the opening. I have half of the grill dedicated to the new snorkel in front of vents, no cutting, of the shroud, just enlarged enough to fit the snorkel through. Doesn't get in the way of the active shutter and no overheating even though half of the grill is dedicated to the huge snorkel.
I noted .3 more miles per gallon, no biggie. It does seem to have more constant acceleration without the bog down at takeoff.
you can see from the opening (above) cut where the air box lines up with snorkel (below)
