sleepyboy I say get the Koni's before the springs. That's just me. I also been thinking about the adj. shocks and struts if I ever get the cash. I like the fact that I can jump my car in need be lol. Seriously the SVT stock springs are good they just need a better strut to control it. That's scary to think the Eibachs are almost the same spring rate as the SVT's.

mellephants I got a ridiculous deal when I bought my Konis. All 4 for $520 shipped, BNIB, in the FS forum on here not too long ago (last September).

Just keep your eyes open for a good deal, or just buy them now. Paying full MSRP wouldn't even be a bad deal for what you get.

If you find the right shop (race shop) you might even be able to get a dyno-matched set. Basically they buy a bunch of them, run them through a shock dyno, then group the most similarly performing dampers together. This kind of service is normally only available for a lot more $ than the Koni MSRP

mellephants Sweet, good to know. I might look at some nicer endlinks if mine need replacing again. Right now I have OE or Moog up front, I don't really remember.

Is legal, here it is (sway bar section from stock class rules):
A. For front anti-roll bars:
1. Substitution, addition, or removal of any front anti-roll bar(s) and
supporting hardware (brackets, endlinks, bushings, etc.) is permitted.
2. Substitution, addition, or removal of anti-roll bars may serve no
other purpose than that of an anti-roll bar.
3. The use of any bushing material is permitted. A bushing may be
implemented as a bearing.
4. No modification to the body, frame, or other components to accommodate
anti-roll bar addition or substitution is allowed except
for the drilling of holes for mounting bolts. Non-standard lateral
members which connect between the brackets for the bar are not
B. Rear anti-roll bars may not be removed, replaced, or modified in any

Now regarding with how important it is, well, we know stock endlinks aren't that good, and I've read reports that adjusting the endlinks so you have no preload is they way to go for front end feel. Just haven't done this myself...

Some of the new 350/370Z guys are asking how the hell I am able to stay faster then them ... my little car has handle and just plain consistency at attending the runs.
